At the same time, retirees and seniors struggle with loneliness, a loss of purpose, and the need for supplemental income.
We bridge this gap. We are a social impact platform designed to helping businesses and nonprofits thrive with a motivated, multigenerational workforce.
We believe that retirement should be a new chapter of purpose, connection, and fulfillment. Our founders, Ben and Debra, recognized the untapped potential of seniors who have spent decades accumulating experience, wisdom, and skills.
We wanted to create a platform that would empower retirees to stay active, contribute meaningfully, and rediscover their purpose by providing them with meaningful work and volunteer opportunities.

Benjamin Balmy
I’m an engineer turned social entrepreneur with a knack for solving tough problems and creating meaningful connections. I started my journey in Martinique, dreaming big and learning how determination can shape a life. From building aircraft to building communities, I’ve always been fueled by innovation and purpose. At Spry Forward, I’m all about helping retirees discover new ways to thrive—connecting them to opportunities that bring purpose, spark joy, and build community. Together, we’re proving that it’s never too late to make an impact.

Debra Albert
Think of me as a connector of people, ideas, and possibilities. I’ve led a global corporate training firm that helped companies shine and built strategies that delivered results. What I really love, though, is using all that expertise to make an impact—whether it’s helping nonprofits and for-profit companies grow, or finding retirees a renewed purpose in the second chapter of their life. At Spry Forward, I’m on a mission to bring work and purpose together, one meaningful match at a time.
